Thanks to COS399 for this tip. The below description has a part number in it for an internal voltage regulator that will go inside a dodge cummins alternator so the ECM or an external voltage regulator isn't required on your conversion. I haven't used one yet but will on the next one I do.

The box is marked as being made by "TRANSPO" and the part number is "IN8315." Below the part number it reads "V R INSERT NIP/CHR." I am assuming it means, voltage regulator insert Nipondenso and Chrysler.???
