Re: my special suburban

I have to correct my last post. I have realised that I hooked up the cables wrong for the toggle switch and also at the wrong place.
These two cables from the switch should NOT be hooked up between the wiper switch and the electric control box. Instead they should be hooked up BEFORE the control box and at the "C" and "E" cables (Grey and Black). Then it works!!
Otherwise I have not done much; rebuilt the alternator, changed out V-belts.
Realised that the starter is too slow and it only measures 7.8 volts at cranking.
When the glow cycle was on it was 11.1 volts. My batteries are small; only 510 cca each but 7.8 volts at cranking is low. It should be higher!!

More posts will come soon now that spring is arriving.
