Mine has a similar number. It too is a '66 Fremont truck with power brakes. It says
760-1 and is "engraved". Looks like a vibrating pen that makes small divots like a center punch and was done before the body was painted. The firewall also has grease pencil writing saying
760. I can only guess it was the job number, but not sure why it would have the "-1" at the end.
