Matt...that IS an HEI distributor...It is one of the older models from the GM line..I've seen them before. Not all HEI's are coil over..some did have the separate coil..Trust me I know. LOL! I've looked up this stuff. Anyhow, the motor looks good!
Edit...Easy way to tell is the type of coil...and the diameter of the rotor cap...a points distributor isn't as large in diameter.
