I use a Lokar throttle cable. I had planned on using the stock one, but it kept hanging up due to the stock cable design. I highly recommend buying a aftermarket cable if you do this.

Here is a close up of the bracket. I will be trimming off the holes for the springs as they are too close to my front spring mount to work. I have a discrete bracket mounted on a intake bolt that provides the right stretch. FYI - the throttle return springs are hidden behind the fuel rail.

NOTE: this bracket has a lip the puts pressure on the back of the carb mounting tab so it does not move when you jump on the throttle.

I like my parts simple and small. I had an Edelbrock bracket, but it was like the Eiffel tower coming off my intake. Worked fine, hated the look of it.

When I take it off to finish/paint it. I'll post a photo of the underside.
Simple and affective, I like it. I'll just have to incorporate my Kick down cable with it. Shouldn’t be to hard
