I'll see if I can dig up a wiring diagram for you, but it's probably going to be tomorrow. The way I prefer to do what you're asking is tie the trinary switch into the hi speed fan control wire through a pair of 47 ohm 1/2 watt resistors in parallel. The resistors are needed to keep the PCM from throwing codes about fan control circuit faults. You can also use diodes, but the wiring is a bit easier with the resistors. Some will suggest adding additonal relays which will work, but they're bulky, expensive and not necessary in this situation.
