Sounds to me like a bad brake booster. When the booster diaphram ruptures you can hear a sound like air escaping when the pedal is pushed. It's actually vacumn and without it you have to push the pedal harder to make a stop. You may even notice the engine miss when you push the brake pedal.
Sounds just like it,i wrote master cylinder in my first post but it was the brake booster i was suspecting.Little difficult with the correct words sometimes.

And I can also hear a little difference in the engine idle rpm when i push the brake pedal.
