Wow, you got a steal of a deal on the truck. The best thing about getting a good deal is taking it away.

If it was me, I would not do all that work while the truck was at your friends place and I would not be looking to add new wheels while still making payment them with the truck being there, try to speed up your payments instead and get all payments signed, it may be the best way to keep a good friend in the long run.

Just remember his dad said it's worth $3500 and with all that work that you are doing now it's worth $5000 to them.

Btw, I think you found a diamond in the rough, great find, I hope you use it and have fun.
