They are 275/55/20's. They came with the wheels when I bought them. I think Im digging your tire size. Do the tires appear too narrow for the 8.5" wheels or anything? Maybe I should do 275/45? IDK. LOL. Kinda stuck on what to do for tires.

I did not c-notch it. I removed the bump stops and I have about 2 1/2 inches of clearance between the rear end housing and the frame rail. I have never bottomed out, but my truck is not used to haul anything but my butt. The dropped shocks that came with my kit are definitely stiff enough to help keep it from bottoming out.
The 245/45/20 is a stock tire size for the Dodge Charger (at least in 2006 it was) so I went with it so I could rotate them. On the Charger they used 9 inch wheels. I don't think the tires look to narrow on the wheels but I would not go any narrower though.
My 245/45 tire is 28.6 inches tall and 9.6 wide, and the 275/45 is 29.7 inches tall and 10.8 wide. 1 inch taller over all.
When I need new tires I probably will go with a 275/40 tire which is 28.6 tall but is 10.8 inches wide.
I hope this all helped your decision.
