Forgot my camera yesterday to post an update. I filled in the fresh air intake on the passenger side outer cowl as I plan on running a VA setup. Which one, I don't know yet. Door gaps were OK but spent hours and hours getting them better. A bit more work and they should be almost perfect. I have a bit more done on fixing the gaps since that picture below was taken.







Below is the crap inner to outer cowl piece. I had to cut and weld it multiple times to get it to fit the way I wanted it to fit.






More of the inner to outer cowl panel. I made some pieces with my new bead roller to match up with the beads on the inner cowl panel. They matched up close before..........NOT!










All welded up and epoxy primed. Ready for a final coating before it gets covered up never to be seen again for another 60 yrs.


















Inside area coated with and ready to be covered up with the outer cowls.
