And now am pulling a steady 19.5hg straight from intake. also lowered my idle from 1,000 down to about 600. Oil change was due,also regapped plugs. Next on the list is upjet my Q-jet. And reseal the rear end. Other than that. I'm happy to say the "mechanical part" is taken care of. Next is "cosmetics". let's see how deep the rabbit hole goes......

All gasket mfgs should never be including that cheap ass rubber gasket for the front or rear intake manifold for Chevy engines. It's been that way for way too dang long. It's always just better to toss that damn thing in the floor & just to put down a bead of silicone and never look back.
