Thanks. You fuel filler looks much cleaner, which is my end goal. Did you have any issues getting the side marker light to sit flush on the recessed mounting place? Or any issues with the fuel door mounting bolts getting in the way?

I did have to make clearance for the heads of the bolts. If you look at the pictures close you can see how I did that
HERE. I cut two slots in my lens mounting plate that I welded to the hinge. The lens does stick out a little more than the stock lens but only about a 1/16". Not really even noticeable, in my opinion. It sticks out a little more in the front than in the rear. Again it's really not noticeable. You wouldn't know it's there just looking at the side of the bed.
You are doing a good job and kudos for just jumping into that mod. It was a pain for sure. I spent a ton of time on mine. I've since forgot how many hours....but the next one I do I'll have a pattern to look at.
