Re: OBD 1 scanner

I was doing tons of MPFI engine swaps back the day. I found this gentleman on the internet in the early 90's. Bought directions built a interface from Radio Shack parts and used a laptop.(1994) Damn that makes feel old. No such thing as plug and play like now on LS swaps. We build our own harness and burned our own chips. My son owns the 1985 c10 with the 1989 IROC Camaro MPFI 350 700r4. I built this truck for me back 1994 and gave it to son in 2006. My son now runs a product called the 2TIMER and runs 2 separate program chips just with the flip a switch. One for street one for smog. My son uses his laptop for real-time emulation, chip burning/reading and data logging.
