My patch was only a little bit better. The tin I found at Home Depot was a bit thin so I did a double layer with some polyurethane goop in between. Then pop riveted it all together.
I used this stuff called "backer rod" as a gasket for the high hump because I plan to have the hump off again one day for a tremec tranny upgrade.
And a little duct tape to finish it off and give it that professional look...
