I used some black duct tape around the edges so the silver doesn't show behind my black rubber mats.
I possibly should have trimmed more off the edges of the silver jute stuff so I could have taped it to the floor easier. But, then again, the closer to the edge it is the quieter I hope.
I ended up painting the area under the seat black for now because I didn't want the silver stuff showing. I'm looking for a rubber or vinyl black floor covering for that area because the silver jute isn't very tough. Hartrod had a pic of a vinyl covering in his '68 that looked pretty good.
I'm just waiting for the black paint to dry so I can finish up the door sills and put the seat back in and have the truck drivable again.
