depends on what you are planning on doing..

parallel 4 link is ok but the question is how are you going to keep the side to side from moving? If you are going to use a panhard bar then you will need a long bar to eliminate side to side motion of the axle. If you have a short bar and lots of travel then you will get a lot of movement in the axle. Now if you are going to do a watts link you get no side to side movement and you can get a decent amount of lift as well..

The other option is a triangulated 4 link. With the triangulated link the angled bars eliminate the side to side movement of the axle just link a watts link does but with only 4 bars.

What ever you do make sure the bars go forward and work with whatever you have. Also between a 4 link versus the leafs. I always suggest using bars because you won't have issues with your pinion.
