No Kidding. Nice truck mate.

I worked this morning on the 64' but forgot to take the camera with me. Many of you have probably read of the mess up I had with the 3M seam sealer I used on the roof drip rail. Several areas did not cure properly. So I had to strip a bunch out and go back down to the metal. I did all that even though I was aggravated as hell at it. Hate doing things twice. I got some new epoxy primer down on all the messed up areas. Didn't have enough time for it to cure to put down the new seam sealer. The plan for that is on Thursday. I did do some final body work on the eyebrow above the windshield. I also plan on seam sealing everything thing else around the doors, rockers, windshield, drip rails, cowl area. Any place I think needs it. Once the tube is open its game on as the last one I had I used half of it and it dried up on me.

Came home around 4p and started on Rocketship Mark VI. I have had it glued up for sometime but never had the motivation to turn it. Well it came today. Fully turned and the fins glued on. It is ready for some coats of Poly. I plan to give this one away. Hopefully the recipient will like it.

Chucked up in the Lathe

Main body turned to size.

Shaped and sanded

Fins laid out. I used the template I made for Rocketship Mark IV

Fins all glued on.

I want to thank Rian(Grizz1963) for some much needed positive motivation.
