Cool build. I skimmed through, so sorry if I missed anything. But about the '73 title, if he had financed the truck the bank would have issued the title at the time it was paid off. Most likely a 36 month loan at the time so if he bought truck in '70 it would have been paid off in '73 and new title would have been issued in his name.
