These BOP 455 were some of the best engines ever made......there is nothing wrong with using a 350 or 327.....however if you want real power and a strong response feel from your engine, I'd go with the 455. I however can't run the 455 because I'm trying to save gas and pass smog at the same time.....and after the smog test.....the smog pump is coming off!!!!
