Re: 69-72 roll bar

It's great to see these being reproduced. I need some help and if it's ok I'd like to ask here where minds are on roll bars.

I have a new uninstalled roll bar that had a paper 73-91 label on it. I bought it for my '85. The thing is, the dimensions don't work out right. It is too short to sit on the floor behind the front seats. Remember, the next generation floor steps up at front of rear seat, not right behind the front seats. If I set it back on the raised floor I think it's still not right. Been a while, can't recall high or low but thinking too high. Also, the rear stays would not hit the wheel house right. The letters came off the label as soon as it got wet, but I swear it said 73-91, not 69-72. I'm wondering if it was labeled wrong and was hoping I could get some general dimensions from a 69-72, either from a roll bar or just what a K/5 would require. There are mounting tabs on the main hoop to fasten at the top of the bedside (inner face), so a floor to top of bedside would help. I'll grab dimensions off of it and get back here.
