For grins, you might put the radiator support on the frame and measure how much space you've got for a fan. From experience I can say that it's a PITA to put a fan in front of the radiator but behind the grill. You'd do well to have at least 3" from water pump / crank pulley to radiator.

That's what I was figuring. I picked up a fan and shroud from the junkyard for really cheap but I think it's going to be too deep. May end up buying a slim one. I'm going back in with the original radiator
