Re: 1956 Chevy Pro-Street Build

So my weekend project was to tear apart the 57 truck I got, everything down to the cab is done. So I have all my parts ready to go get blasted and primer coated. The cab will come later.

The other thing I added to my frame is a trailer hitch! - a hidden hitch sits behind my license plate boxed roll pan. I fabbed it out of a craigslist find that I got for $50.... I cut it down to size to fit my frame rail width and just behind the license box. I used the same mounting brackets in a different orientation though, I cut them to fit the frame flush with the top. Then drilled some mounting holes and transferred them to the frame. Drilled the frame to accept the grade 8 nuts and welded them into place. So its totally bolt-on!

Another item off the list!!!
