Still think it's a ground issue in the brake light circuit. But I put bulbs in all the holes and it doesn't work. Could be the cruise box. Guess I'll pick one up at the salvage yard and try it.

The B body sedan harness requires working bulbs in the third brake light (CHMSL) location in order to function.
