I read in another post that the rear should have staggered shock mounts on the back and the frame should be straight (not curved to the outside) over the rear-end area.

Any other things I should look for? How about the engine frame mounts? Should they be like the SBC or 6-cyl mounts on a 67-72 C10 or do they have the cup-style mounts like the later models and 72 BBC mounts?

It's 3OTT and has a SBC.

He doesn't have a title, just a bill of sale.

I'm not sure if the SPID sheet is there or not either.
For most of the 67-72 trucks The partial vin should be Stamped right behind the power steering pump on the frame. You'll probably have to scrape around some to find it. That's a good way to tell if it's an original 4x4. If the partiAl frame vin matches the complete vin on the drivers door post than your original.
