I usually just use two regular wrenches or a bench vise and a wrench. Put a piece of electrical tape on the vise jaws and some on the inside of wrench head to keep from scratching up the fittings if you're worried about looks and DONT OVERTIGHTEN THEM!!! Over tightening leads to broken fittings and wrenches slipping off and rounding off edges! Bear in mind that at the hose to fitting connection, the seal is made by a combination of inward and outward pressure on the hose NOT by direct face to face pressure like the fitting to fitting connection so it's not necessary to "hulk" the fitting to the hose when assembling them. If they leak at the fitting to hose connection, it's not because it's needs to be tighter, it's because the hose wasn't seated properly and you should redo it!
Just a tip.
