Working in Junk Yards , Used Car Lots and the lower Tier Service Stations gives one a whole 'nother perspective on things

I remember in 1972 looking at an old Dodge ambulance (1950's M37) that had the engine painted then started up whilst still wet ~ the paint dried in little flags blown back wards by the fans prop wash .
Helluva thing .
They too painted the spark plugs , wires , carby etc. .
