If you saw fuell cell guy's pick, he used the stock camaro brackets, but had to weld the towers to the front crossmember. The LT1 fits just fine using the V8 or L6 towers to mount. Lots of clearance for oil pan. I'll take some pics of that too. I don't think you'll need a new balancer, but don't quote me on it. I'm using the 4L60e from the same donor car. Hopefully I can get it cleaned up and bolted on as well.
