I have 9 inches and true 38's. The PJ's are actually 38.2. I would say a minimum of 8 if you are doing it just for looks. Mine rubs under medium wheeling. I would recommend an 11 inch lift. 8 inch spring and 3 inch body if you want to wheel around decently. There are some pics around if you search. I don't have them handy.
