wood bed coming together. cant order a kit for this, because of the tubs and floor height makes it all wonky. even ordering bed strips, a shortbed kit wouldnt fit. I got a longbed stainless kit YEARS ago with the 1963 that donated its grille, so I was able to chop it to size. fit all the bed wood pieces and made sure it worked.





yes that strip is backwards haha

I think I really like the subtle 8" center piece and two center 6" pieces, kinda looks like racing stripes haha.

probably wont assemble today, I want to change the pinion angle and some other stuff before I do. yes I can tilt the bed but right now I can lay on it and reach right through, cant do that with a floor.
