Re: Project Goldilocks, '66 C10 SWB BBW Build

I stuck the front end together enough to get it rolling. We may be moving to another shop soon so I needed to make the truck roll. First time it's rolled on it's on in awhile...

I also bought a reproduction floor mat from Fred's Truck Parts. These have been out of production for years now and I looked everywhere trying to find one. The mats from Fred's are much nicer than the previous reproductions.

I've been saving up and selling off some of my extra cars to build a garage/apartment and I haven't been spending much on any of my projects lately, so there won't be any big updates for awhile. The rear axle/suspension/brakes are going to run around $5k... can't drop that on it anytime soon. My plan is to build without going into debt, so once it's built I won't have a monthly payment, which equals more parts money. I've never been one that likes to save money but making some sacrifices now will pay off later.

Couple pics of the front on the ground for the first time.

And the floor mat.
