Re: 72 C10 winter budget build

Well time got away from me, but I am very happy to report that I finished everything I had planned on the truck by early summer and I have been enjoying every second of time behind the wheel of my SWB!!

So to try and pick up where I left off....

The frame cut went smoothly. I spent a few hours drawing and double checking my measurements for the frame cut. ( 12" in the center and 8" off of the back)

Then with the help of a friend with a lot of welding experience we made the plunge

Everything went smooth and lined up well. We measured a few different points on the frame as well as some points diagonally before welding it back together.
