Cheyenne came out in 71, as did Cheyenne Super. The trim levels, from lowest to highest (in 71-72) are Custom, Custom Deluxe, Cheyenne, and Cheyenne Super. Highlander seat and/or discount package A/B/C were only applied to a Custom Deluxe trim level and only in 72. Custom Camper is an additional RPO (Z81) package that could be added to any trim level, from Custom all the way up to Cheyenne Super. CST (Custom Sport Truck) is the top of the line trim level (equivalent to a Cheyenne), but in 69-70. The terminology on the SPID carried over into 71 for some Cheyennes (i.e. would be CST Z84 on the SPID or Z84 Cheyenne on the SPID in 71 for a truck with Cheyenne fender emblems). For square bodies (you are correct, Silverado and Scottsdale are squares only) - Silverado came out a few years into the production series and Cheyenne remained for a bit. As Tim alludes to, some trim levels phased out, some remained as new ones came in. Scottsdale came in also. Also, kind of like the Highlander package truck option on a 72, the Scottsdale trim level could be had with Bonanza group options for a few years in the mid-late 70's. Hope that helps. Silverado was top of the line when it came out, just like Cheyenne Super was in 71-72.
