In the dually's case, I feel if I'm going this far I might as well do the little extra and go to the pinch. I will also allow me to ride lower(visually according to the body) without scraping the frame. I could probably shave a little out of my body bushings too, I might do that with the stock bushings and see what happens. I planned on replacing them anyway so a little experiment can't hurt.

I get it (kind of). But just like you mentioned, there's that pinch weld. Keeping up w/the Jones'.....
I do agree that once you shave the bottom of the rail you'll gain some clearance for sure. I love the effort & all you've done so my bet is you'll nail it.
