Don't get carried away just yet. I think you are a simple gear change away from really enjoying the truck. I too own a very similiar truck and it goes down the highway at 75-80MPH with no issues at decent RPMS. My guess is you have a high 3.?? To low 4.?? rear end gear ratio? I would say a mid 3.?? ratio rear end if you use the truck to haul, spend most of your drives on surface streets etc. If you like to haul you know what on the highway then look at a low 3.?? to high 2.?? gear change. My .02 cents.
