One quick question/input requested. I'm currently using this welder
http://www.harborfreight.com/welding...der-61849.html (on loan from a friend) for welding duty. While I know it's not the best welder in the world it has served it's purpose for the most part. The problem I am running into while welding the back panel is that it keeps blowing holes through the metal. From what the harbor freight site said it should be able to handle 18g. However the welder seems to be running too hot.
I could probably get my hands on a nicer lincoln with argon. Would it make the welding that much better/easier?
