They are made with "water proof door board " It's not water proof it's water resistant . If you get a set just cover the back with plastic when you install them .Also you'll need to use the '72 escutcheons between the panels and door handle /window crank to prevent wear . I've used these door boards for many years to recreate 100's of different door panels before they went to plastic molded panels .One more thing is you want to use countersunk flanged chrome trim washers when you install the lower 4 1/4x20 countersunk screws into the door so the screws don't pull thru the pressed cardboard panels.
