I guess it depends on how quiet you want it.

I run dual 2.5" exhaust with a pair of DynoMax Super Turbo mufflers,not that loud untill you get into it.I don't have a problem with it's sound level.It's definitly quieter than it used to be.

A second layer?I don't know.I don't think I need it.But again it's all in your own personnal preferance.

The more you use the quieter it gets.

Hell if you want it that quiet put a pair of foam ear plugs in before you get in your truck:p

Are you going for that "new car quiet"?
