Yeah when i did my 4w-2w conversion i cut the entire front frame from the fireewall gorward on a 81 c10(did this to have reference points)I did the "rivets" method then bolted it all up with grade 8 bolts to my 86 that I also modded into a full convert able using a 74 for the donor.it took about 4 hours to get it all measured out and bolted up,not hard at all.good luck and welcome to the.
