The weather stripping is original but usable. The pivot bolt weld broke loose from the frame. I had to use the latch and handle on the replacement.
In the process I realized the window sweeps were on backwards and inside out. I feel kinda dumb for not realizing this sooner. So I switched those around too.

yeah.. unscrew the back track to the big window and push the glass back to get more room to work the vent window out and back in...
