i pretty much knew that at that elevation, there was going to be snow. looking at the mountains & how mild this winter has been, i was hoping to get up to a mile or so from John George & hike the rest. was not happening, hit snow at the 8 mile mark
little too far to be hoofing out in snow....notice how there is hardly any snow anywhere, except on the road...
i made it just around the corner then had all 3 wheels spinning...
backing out of there, guess my 40% BF's are'nt good enough for that much....
