Chances that it would of worked, would of been slim. Either too short after lift, or maybe even too short if a T-case drop happened. We'll just say...it wouldn't of worked without changing the length of driveshaft.
Once you get the main components installed, you'll just have to try and see how the truck handles. You will probably, at minimum, need to install new u-joints just for good measure.
