so I added the LED tail lights onto the Chevy and low and behold...... the Cruise control stopped working!!!!! WTF!!!! Have you ever heard of such a thing? I expected the lights to possibly flash faster because of the lower resistance of the LED lights, but they actually flashed SLOWER! So long story short, after a lot of wiring variations and cursing, I had to add the original bulbs back into the circuit in lieu of the hassle of adding a resistor to the circuit (hillbilly engineering). The bulbs glow very dim, so I mounted the bulbs behind the license plate. So now all lights and CC works and the bonus.... they flash at the correct speed too!
This is how i mounted them for testing. I told my wife that I was going to leave it that way, but she didn't find the humor.
