the Nahatlatch river starts up in the mountains in a 60 mile valley, then flows into 3 lakes, then becomes a river again near the bottom of the valley. here the river is about 50-60 feet below the bridge at the bottom
then the river climbs up to the road
where it hits the first lake, Frances.
