And in summer they do come back with a vengeance.

Hedges are great as they do kill a lot of road noise, look softer than a concrete fence/wall or even a feather board panel fence.

But they do look nice when trimmed.

I also have considered this John, but ultimately decided that they take little enough maintenance over the year.
