Wow Cericd, those photos are amazing.. bet there aren't too many of those OEM in-bed spare tire mounting bolts floating around at the dealers around the whole USA - especially with the GM part number sticker still on them.. very helpful though.. I might be able to find an equivalent at Fastenal now that I've seen that - for ten times the price..

Just a statement in general and on a related topic regarding these spare carriers - I do think there are two improvements needed: 1.) Locking feature - because even stock steelies are hard to find these days and if you have a brand new $125 balanced tire on your recently powdercoated spare steel wheel you don't wanna just go off and leave it sitting there in the bed tempting people.

2.) A quick release - to pop that spare off and on for cleaning or for loading large items in the bed.
