Re: Dash Upgrade

Tommys72: I had read that these LED's with the extra circuit built in were dimmable somewhere else on the board. They do dim a little but nothing like the factory bulbs.

Seafoam68: Thanks! I had a hopped up 74 Nova with a monster Autometer Tach and shift light. It fit on that car but my truck looks fairly stock so I opted for a stock looking dash.

TheFix: Thanks, They are pretty bright, and you are welcome.

Steve R: These are plug and play... for the most part. They fit right into the black sockets that twist into the back of the dash... The only thing you have to watch out for is that LED's aren't uni-directional like the old incandescents. If you put them in and they don't light up give the LED a 180 turn and you're good to go.

hdff: Thanks!

Grumpy old man: That's exactly what I was thinking... :-)

custom10nut: Makes sense. I changed these out and the dome light on mine. I'm going to change all the lights out eventually.

dmjlambert: I've heard that these will from a guy who restores dashes in these trucks. My fiber optic socket/cable was all jacked up so I can't tell you for sure.
