Pics 1&2 show the Mustang V6 left header. It does an OK job of missing my steering shaft but it hugs the block too much. It passes too close to the starter and is actually hitting a boss on the block near the top of pic #2. Pic 3 shows the stock 96 Camaro right header dumping into the frame and K member. I didn't take a pic of the Mustang right header but it dumped straight into the firewall.

Yesterday I scored a set of 00-02 Camaro headers at the wrecking yard for $48. Pic #4 is of the left header and #5 of the right. This I can work with! I would prefer that GM took me into consideration and designed the right header to hug the block a little more. Then I could slide the motor some more to the right. But I'm going to probably cut up the firewall a little which will let me move the motor aft some more and this will help both the left and right sides.
