My original radiator in my factory big block 1970 did not use a return to the radiator. The replacement unit I installed at restoration had a fitting there, but plugged.
Offhand, unless they varied wildly by year, I don't think that's a big block radiator. How many rows of tubes if you shine a light into the neck?
