P.S. The last time I shipped glass, UPS wont anymore. Fedex did. They wanted everything cushoned with at least 2 inches of foam.
That was about a year ago.Dont know for sure if the will still ship glass. I took a bycycle box,put two inch lumber around the edges and 1/4 inch plywood on the sides an then wraped the glass in plastic, surounded it as tightly as possible with styrofoam from Home depot, and filled the voids with cans of the expanding type of cans of spray foam insulation. Mine made it. Good luck!
