Idle RPM is ~600. After it warms up I notice sometimes it wants to idle at 1000-1100 in park, strange. I'm going to Edelbrock RPM Air-Gap intake with an Edelbrock 750 carb, just not there yet. The 396 (402) is the original and I was told by owner (through classic car dealer) it was recently built. Overall runs good. I recently rebuilt carb which helped.
